• One form of photo ID (passport or driving licence)
• Two proofs of address (utility bill, bank statement or official correspondence dated within the last 3 months)

No. While many ConnectBike UK riders are delivery couriers, our e-bikes are available to anyone who needs reliable, cost-effective transport – whether for commuting, errands or leisure.

Every subscription includes:

• A fully serviced electric bike, ready to ride
• Battery and charger
• Scheduled maintenance every 4 weeks
• Replacement parts and labour (free for standard wear and tear)
• Optional Protection: Add Theft & Damage Cover for £40/month to avoid most repair or replacement charges.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and include the bike, battery, charger, and servicing. Payments are made via Direct Debit.

Appointments aren’t required, but booking in advance ensures priority during busy times. Our mission is to get you back on the road with minimal downtime.

Report the incident immediately on 0800 8611 959. You’ll also need to file a police report and provide us with the reference number.
All ConnectBike UK bikes are fitted with GPS tracking to aid recovery. Depending on the circumstances, you may be responsible for an insurance excess fee, as outlined in your rental agreement.

In line with UK law, our e-bikes are limited to 15.5mph (25km/h) when powered by the motor. You can of course pedal faster using your own power.

Yes. Each ConnectBike UK e-bike is fitted with a GPS tracker. This helps us recover stolen bikes and ensures accountability in your rental.
Please note: GPS does not track the battery – lost or stolen batteries will still incur replacement costs.
